Who Is Tim Walker?
James T. Walker was born on September 17, 1948 in Bowling Green, Missouri, USA as James Timothy Walker.
A lifelong animator and cartoonist, Tim has been focused on making cartoons since he was 4 years old.
Tim started in the cartoon business in the late 1960s, working as an in-betweener and assistant, working his way towards becoming a full-time animator.
Tim got his start working as a full-fledged animator for Hanna-Barbera cartoons in the early 1970s.
One of Tim’s proudest moments came when Bill Hanna reviewed a scene of his animation, much as he did on the legendary Tom and Jerry cartoons of the 1940s and 50s, and gave Tim an approving nod.
Tim is famous for animating (as well as directing and sequencing) many beloved TV series and cartoon movies, including:

Tim Walker is a veteran of the animation industry, with a career spanning nearly five decades, and has worked on more animated features and television shows than practically anyone else alive.
Tim is proud to have overcome an alcohol abuse problem and is a proud member of AA‘s twelve step group.
Tim was diagnosed with lateral flexion in Parkinson’s disease, leading to him having to learn to animate and draw with his non-dominant (left) hand.
Tim made a book illustrating visually Tim’s path to self-discovery; his journey of overcoming these personal difficulties.
Tim currently resides in Los Angeles, California with my wife Susan. He is the proud father of three children and grandfather of one.
He is still working on drawing cartoons and as an animation sheet timer (along with many other roles) to this day.
